55 reels. Accompanied by a guide. Personal, business, official correspondence, and ledgers. Also includes papers of Knox's wife, Lucy Flucker, and members of her family. Knox was a brigadier general in the Continental Army. As commander of artillery, he participated in many important engagements. In 1785, Congress appointed him Secretary of War. Originals are on deposit in the Massachusetts Historical Society.
